Equestrian

The Equestrian Team Coach is Holly Hyatt. The team practices Saturdays at Spring Acres in the Spring Garden Community. Our Equestrian athletes will compete in state level competitions.

The Basketball team will begin training in October. Dates and times TBA. Volunteer coaches are needed.

The Bowling Team Coaches are Ralph and Kathy Albano for New Bern, and Exie Horn for Cherry Point. The Cherry Point team meets Wednesdays, 5:00pm, at Stars and Strikes (Cherry Point). Cherry Point is currently training between 15-20 athletes each week. In addition, we have a New Bern team which trains on Thursdays, 4:00pm, at Strike Zone. The New Bern team averages between 50+ weekly. These teams compete in three levels of competition including local, area and state. Please check the event calendar for competition dates and times. Our bowling sponsors are ARC-Craven County and Knights of Columbus in Havelock.

The Aquatics Team coaches are Rita Maynard and Ralph Albano. There are currently two meeting times for the teams. The Tuesday night team meets at the YMCA from 7:00pm - 8:00pm. The other aquatics team meets weekly at 1:00pm on Fridays at the YMCA in New Bern. There are currently between 15-20 athletes competing. The athletes compete in a variety of distances and relay races. They also compete in regional and state level competitions.

The Bocce team is coached by Rita Maynard, Elizabeth Pletcher and Lynne Seymour. Bocce practices every Tuesday at 4:30pm at Creekside Park. The team practices in the spring staring in March they take a break in July and August to get ready for their fall season starting in September.
