Description of Criminal Justice Advisory Board

The Criminal Justice Advisory Board functions to participate in the planning process to develop a community-based corrections plan.

Qualifications: Appointments are made from various specified categories, including: County Commissioner, County Manager, Superior Court Judge, District Attorney, defense attorney, public defender, Sheriff, probation officer, Police Chief, community service coordinator, mental health representative, substance abuse, employment and training, community-based corrections or victim services, business community and crime victim.
