Commissioner Scott C. Dacey

Commissioner Dacey was elected to serve on the Craven County Board of Commissioners in 2010. Over the past 25 years he has been engaged in providing government relations services to a host of corporations, not for profit institutions, and governments. He is also a co-owner of a real estate development company based in New Bern.
As a member of the County Board, Commissioner Dacey serves on the Eastern Carolina Behavioral Health Board, The New Bern Craven County Library, and the Aging Planning Board. He also serves on the Coastal Carolina Airport Authority.
Commissioner Dacey received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 1986. He and his wife Jennifer have two children and reside in Trent Woods.
